Battle of Cowpens and King's Mountain

Today we focused on the battles of Cowpens and King's Mountain.  The battle of King's Mountain was the first big battle that the Patriots won in South Carolina.  In the battle of Cowpens, the Americans had another big victory.  The Patriots set up a plan to only have a few men shoot at a time.  Once these men took two shots, they were to run behind everyone else.  The British believed that the Patriots had given up and stood there on a hill.  The Patriots began to pick them off one by one.
