Today we celebrated Dr. Seuss's birthday and Read Across America Day! We read Horton Hears a Who, The Lorax, and I Don't Want to Get Up Today. We also watched Horton Hears a Who and throughout the movie the students were comparing and contrasting between the book and the movie.
Morning Journal: What is your favorite Dr. Seuss book and why?
Morning Math: We took our morning math test. These tests came home today.
Math: We SOLVEd word problems based on Dr. Seuss books.
Imagine It: Dr. Seuss read aloud and AR tests.
The following tests should have come home today: Morning Math Week 20, Earthquake!, timed multiplication, Capacity test.
